The Shell Valley is truly 
beautiful anytime of the year. 

 Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter the valley hosts activities for people of all ages with a vast range of interests. 

Horticulturalists will enjoy a trip to Skinner's Nursery.  For 75 years Frank Skinner has been breeding and developing superior strains of all kinds of trees, shrubs and flowers.  Will there don't forget to visit the National Historic Nursery Site - Frank Skinner Arboretum Trail.

We have 3 miles of river front (2500 acres) available for hiking, bird watching, and trail riding.  We offer a variety of ranch vacation packages for experienced riders.

Naturalist and photographers alike will enjoy a trip through the valley to discover its abundance of  flora and fauna.

Anglers from across North America come to the area to fish the Lake of the Prairies.  Home of the Prairie Classic catch and release tournament.  Water skiing, tubing and a beautiful beach area also attract visitors.

Looking for a like prairie history?  Visit the Inglis Grain Elevators National Historical Site. These five standard wooden grain elevators are the last example of the rows that once stood at every small community as Canada's golden-age of grain handling developed in the 1920s.

Snowmobile trails run throughout the area.  Rentals are available from Parkland Snowmobile Rentals.

Winter fun has exploded in the area with the opening of "Canada's Best New Attraction for 2000" 
Asessippi Ski Area & Winter Park offers alpine skiing, snow boarding, downhill tubing and outstanding hospitality.
